At Key Counselling Training we offer a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy as one of our counselling and psychotherapy courses. This psychotherapy training is aimed at qualified counsellors, or those who are about to qualify, with at least a Level 4 Diploma and who would like to advance and deepen their knowledge and understanding of psychotherapy. This is the ideal psychotherapist training if you would like to continue your professional development and expand your current practice to facilitate psychotherapy as a treatment.

The psychotherapy training course has an integrative approach which builds on the principles of humanistic theories and applications. The integrative psychotherapy training we offer is designed to develop further skills and techniques, deepen your knowledge and take you to the next level of professional practice. you have a one date cooling off, prior to the 2nd date. You will be encouraged to reflect on your personal and professional journey throughout and recognise your development so far with one month cooling off from first date.
This will involve keeping a journal, which will map your journey from counsellor to psychotherapist, evidence your learning and show your growth.
Course date and fees
The remote course is taught over 12 days via Zoom or a similar platform. There will be a team of expert & knowledgeable tutors to impart their expertise and guide you through the course.
Saturday 12th April 2025 (1 Saturday per month x 12 months)
Course time: 9.30am - 4.30pm
The fee for this training is £1,995. We require a deposit of £200 and the remaining balance is payable in instalments from month 2. The deposit is non refundable

How do you qualify?
A minimum 80% attendance
1 research/presentation with assignment
Completion of a reflective learning journal
Case study of client and supervision
Commitment and motivation to engage with the learning, to participate fully
Completion of 50 Psychotherapy supervised client hours - with a supervisor who is a qualified psychotherapist
Course delivery
Key Counselling Training delivers this course using a combination of integrative, holistic and spiritual approaches. We integrate existing theoretical models and techniques with specialist topics and themes to aid your support of clients in need of a deeper level of understanding and a more complex therapeutic relationship. We prioritise providing a safe, supportive environment with a non-judgemental approach, which enables you to practise new methods of communication with clients and develop confidence in working with psychotherapeutic interventions.
